Rolling Stones Dead Reporter, Hastings, WAS Investigated by FBI and NSA: More Government Lies About Spying Overturned

I do not subscribe to the theory that the CIA killed the Rolling Stones reporter, Hastings.  But I do believe our government was spying on him.  For a long time, they denied this but proof of the spying has finally come to light and is no longer deniable.  The government has spied on reporters who don’t do the bidding of the elites ever since I was a child if not much longer.  It still amazes me that real reporters who go looking for real information even exist under the rule of the elites who forbid this.  The Rolling Stone is one publication that has not knuckled under…yet.  I hope they never will but I have seen far too many publications go under or be bought by the elites and thus, cut off all the real reporters who then fall into despondency and despair.

Three days after Hastings died, the FBI issued a rare public statement denying Hastings was under investigation. “At no time was Michael Hastings under investigation by the FBI,” bureau spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said on June 21.

 

The spokeswoman’s comments followed an email Hastings sent colleagues a day before he died that read: “The Feds are interviewing my close friends and associates.” But Hasting’s email was referring to the “NSA,” according to the subject line — not to his earlier reporting.

 

Still, the FBI appeared to have taken great interest in the article Hastings wrote about Bergdahl, whose name is redacted in the document the agency turned over to Al Jazeera and Shapiro.

 

See how blandly the government agents lie!  Bergdahl, an American soldier who disappeared in Afghanistan, had  his name redacted in the documents below, is the ‘prisoner of war’ the government claims is being held by the Taliban.  But Hastings made contact with Bergdahl who told the reporter he isn’t a prisoner of war at all, he deliberately made individual contact with the Taliban and joined them.  This screws up propaganda regimes greatly and so the government decided to spy on Hastings so they could charge him with being a traitor.

This is insane but it is also the reality of who uses the government tools and for what.  They think nothing of intimidating Glenn Greenwald and his lover, for example.  They think nothing of using the NSA to listen in to conversations between whistleblowers and reporters.  This is why whistleblowers were all being easily captured and tormented.  Snowden’s files revealed how deep, intense and utterly unconstitutional this spying is and how the NSA abuses the ‘War on Terror’ (sic) to terrorize reporters.

Note the information that is redacted.  Why was this stupid thing secret in the first place?  There is zero reason for secrecy except one: IT IS FUCKING ILLEGAL TO SPY ON HASTINGS!

This memo talks about the ‘media frenzy’ as the Rolling Stones reporter shows clearly all the money spend on ‘rescuing’ Bergdahl is a waste of taxpayer’s money.  Hastings blew this story up and he did nothing illegal in gathering information.  We are not at war with Afghanistan, we are occupying the place, after all.  This is why the ‘war secrets’ stuff can’t be passed by Congress.  Instead, they passed the misnamed ‘Patriot Act’ which opened the door wide for all invasions, lies, suppression of vital information, spying on citizens and the world.  This was to stop al Qaeda.

And then we see today the US arming al Qaeda all over again!  As if nothing happened.  On the anniversary of 9/11 we have this government mess where the citizens forced the President (Netanyahu) to back down on this stupid war they wanted.  NSA undermines privacy ‘fixes’ suggested by Obama because there is no way they will allow the rest of us any privacy.  U.S. spy agencies decry latest Snowden revelations because they are pissed that they are being exposed.  Now that Obama, himself, has said he has no idea what they are doing behind his back, it is time to terminate the Patriot Act itself.

The Real Rulers hate democracy which is why the loved the Egyptian coup.  John Kerry: Obama Can Bomb Assad Even If Congress Votes No was an astonishing statement by him.  But polls show Obama and Kerry going down in flames with the public over this stupid warmongering over Syria.  So when Russia announced Syria would get rid of the chemical weapons via Russia, of course, the last excuse for war collapsed.  Obama to take his case on Syria to American people on Tuesday which is today and is very funny since he has no more war to peddle.

The Egyptian coup lost little time imposing strict rule on Gaza and the desert tribes of Sinai:  Egypt announces full-scale assault on Sinai militants which is what Israel and Saudi Arabia wanted.  Any thoughts that Egypt’s coup was to protect Egyptians should end now.  It was a foreign intervention coup which the Egyptian elites wanted.  No one polled the people there to find out if Egypt should ally itself with Israel in locking down the Palestinians in Gaza.

The recent Syria war efforts have failed for the elites here and they are very steamed about this.  AIPAC is howling at the moon.  How dare this little plan collapse so totally?  Control of the British people  must be expanded!  They started this with back bench demands for a war debate!  I will note that the Prime Minister didn’t resign after losing his own party’s support for war.  The fact that Cameron is still running things is astonishing and quite a few Brits are quite angry about this. Senate Delays War Vote as Opposition Grows and Senate leaders of both parties who happily signed on for more wars due to bribes or their involvement in the military/industrial complex are very exposed and should all be thrown out by their parties.  New leaders!

Syria Welcomes Call to Destroy Chemical Weapons is the last news these elites wanted to hear.  Assad Not Responsible for Gas Attack, Says Freed Belgian Hostage which wouldn’t shock me since it was the stupidest thing on earth for Assad to do the same day the UN inspection team came to Syria to see if he was using gas to attack!  Russia Urges IAEA to Assess Risks of US Attack on Nuclear Program: Putin says the US might cause a nuclear power plant to blow up a la Fukushima.  IAEA doesn’t have any specific mandate to write any rules about this matter due to the US and Israel demanding they pretend there is no danger of some insane imperialist power blowing up nuclear power plants deliberately.

I am assuming this is one of the Pentagon’s lovely little future tactical plans.  I am absolutely certain, this is their plan because I know it is a great plan for winning a war, this destroys a region pretty much totally and makes it uninhabitable!  So of course, the Pentagon will do this during a war which is why they don’t want any international bodies saying this is illegal and a war crime.  The IAEA inspectors are all fakes, anyways, due to the US and Israel refusing to let them even MENTION that Israel has many nukes.  To this day, the official position of our captive government is, the Real Ruler, Israel, has no nukes.

The international groups investigating nukes and nuclear power plants is a farce thanks to the US refusing to give them power or cooperate with them and due to Israel defying everyone and sneering at all efforts for diplomatic controls of nuclear products and Japan doesn’t want anyone coming in from the outside to see Fukushima for the same dirty reasons. Guam EPA asks for help to test for radioactivity and I bet Obama will nix this, too.
