US Continues Wild War Spending While Congress Whines There Is No Money For Americans

The warmongering Washington Post has a very childish story about how nasty Russia and China are for buzzing our air force and navy on the high seas right next to Russia and China’s borders.  How dare they protect their own borders!  The over extended US empire which is rapidly bankrupting our nation has poked its nose right in the face of two of the world’s strongest nuclear powers both of which have increasingly big military capacity and both nations are SOLVENT whereas ours isn’t, we have the deepest debts on earth owed to our trade partners who run huge trade surpluses with us.  We are doomed to collapse due to all this.  And our war expenses shoots ever upwards thanks to our wars against Muslims in general.

ISIS plays us like a fiddle.  Every time the US public thinks we can end our warmongering against Muslims, they up the anger with dramatic you tube videos of them cutting the throats of Europeans and Americans who foolishly went over to Iraq to save people from the caldron of destruction created by US invasions.  Libya, too, is in chaos with the EU and US no longer able to steal any more oil there.

So, while we go bankrupt warring with Muslim fanatics, we also have decided to provoke a war with the world’s top nuclear powers:  China, Russia flex muscles in increasing number of close calls with U.S. aircraft – The Washington Post

Carlisle said U.S. and Chinese forces are frequently encountering each other in parts of the East China and South China seas where they rarely came into contact in the past. Since commissioning its first aircraft carrier two years ago, China’s navy has conducted more exercises farther away from its shores and is closely patrolling areas in disputed waters where Chinese companies are drilling for oil.

Those movements have prompted the U.S. military in turn to deploy its ships and reconnaissance aircraft to keep a close watch. China’s military usually responds by conducting intercepts of U.S. aircraft as the two sides jockey for position, Carlisle said…

In turn, Russia hasn’t hesitated to challenge U.S. reconnaissance flights near its territory. In April, a Russian Su-27 fighter jet flew within 100 feet of a U.S. Air Force RC-135U aircraft that was operating in international airspace over the Sea of Okhotsk, prompting complaints from the Pentagon.

No mention of NATO suddenly and in violation of promises in the past, expanding right to Russia’s front door.  No mention of the coup in Ukraine.  No mention of Japan’s wild territorial demands far, far away from Japan’s shores.  No mention how many miles away from China and Russia’s territory, these confrontations are happening.  Hint: we are far close to them than they to us, our confrontations are thousands of miles from US territory.

The US is encouraging fascism in Japan and sitting idle while Japan insults China such as Abe parading about yelling that there were no ‘comfort women’ in WWII and no war crimes.  For this alone, the US should remove our ambassador and close our military bases protecting Japan.  Japan even plans now to produce their own jets and ships and no longer buy from us and military hardware is one of the few things the US is allowed to export to Japan which runs a huge trade surplus with the US.

Then there is the black hole of Afghanistan.  Bin Laden’s plans were to lure the US into Afghanistan so we would go bankrupt there and it is working perfectly:  Paying Afghanistan’s Bills – NYTimes.com

By the end of the year, Congress will have appropriated more money for Afghanistan’s reconstruction, when adjusted for inflation, than the United States spent rebuilding 16 European nations after World War II under the Marshall Plan.

A staggering portion of that money — $104 billion — has been mismanaged and stolen. Much of what was built is crumbling or will be unsustainable. Well-connected Afghans smuggled millions of stolen aid money in suitcases that were checked onto Dubai-bound flights. The Afghan government largely turned a blind eye to widespread malfeasance. Even as revelations of fraud and abuse stacked up, the United States continued shoveling money year after year because cutting off the financial spigot was seen as a sure way to doom the war effort.

Even with this spending, the government appears to be broke in Afghanistan.  This is IDENTICAL to Ukraine which is bankrupt, too.  Ukraine is going to be reduced to an ice cube this winter and the EU and US will foot the fuel bill for all this as well as prop up the government with IMF loans that can’t ever be repaid.  The EU is also sucking in this failed state which is fatal to the EU which is still struggling with the banking collapse.

Here is a good analysis of all this from one of the readers:

To understand this fiscal insanity you need to understand how “aid” to these countries works and how Western companies like Haliburton and other “crony companies” benefit from the “aid”. Once you understand that a big chunk of that wasted $100 billion has gone directly from the US treasury into the coffers of Western corporations who get the contracts for the aid you better understand the dynamic and where the lobbying and influence to continue this nonsense is coming from. It’s not coming from anybody who understands Afghan politics. It’s not about aiding Afghanistan’s reconstruction and never has been. It’s all about getting the US government to open the treasury spigot so the war and reconstruction profiteers can do what they do best — gouge the US taxpayer. It may seem insane to throw over a $100 billion to a corrupt little regime in the middle of nowhere but if you are part of the arms and reconstruction complex it’s great for business.

Yes, this is all a looting expedition of our ruling elites who see the US as this fat cow to be slaughtered.  Meanwhile, our nation continues its economic collapse with US citizens told we have no money for anything much here and there looms this terrible plague that our rulers are passively allowing to enter the country…economic chaos will ensue if that comes here.

Then there is Gitmo, a complete disaster, an illicit, illegal prison where prisoners are tortured and which is barely indistinguishable from ISIS prisons:  Nearly $3 million a year per prisoner, the most expensive prison on earth: Guantánamo Bay Costs: The Mindboggling Expenses of Running the Prison | New Republic

Last of all, NATO:  Ramshackle Army at Odds with Berlin’s Global Aspirations – SPIEGEL ONLINE while Germany ponders troops for Ukraine monitor mission

Last week, a single person pushed Germany’s air force to the very limits of its capacities: Ursula von der Leyen, the country’s defense minister. Von der Leyen requested that two Transall military transport aircraft with missile defense systems be transferred to Amman, the Jordanian capital. The defense minister and a pool of reporters then flew for eight hours on Thursday morning in one of the aircraft to Erbil in Iraq’s Kurdish region. Back in Germany, the military had but a single additional Transall at its disposal.

Germany, like Japan, runs trade surpluses with the US.  They piggy back ride to war on US dollars and equipment.  The Germans want socialism at home and peace while shoving us into wars and forcing us to pay for everything all the time.  This is insanity.  We have to ditch these freeloaders.  And stop all our wars with Muslims.  Muslims will stop attacking us here at home and if the rest of humanity doesn’t want radical Muslims fighting, they can do something about this.

There was no fighting before WWI.  All this has happened since due to European imperialism including ethnic cleansing attempts by Europeans.
