2015: MOAB – Mother of All Bombs GBU-43/B – the Pentagon boasts that this is the ‘mother of all bombs’. The Tsar nuclear bomb by Russia is the father of all possible bombs being 1000 times more dangerous. The Pentagon is running riot again just like they did for the last 60 years, pretty much my entire life. I grew up in the shadow of the nuclear bombs, grrr…it wasn’t a picture in the news, it was very real at the secret military base where we lived for a while during the Eisenhower years.
This ridiculous bomb is being used in Afghanistan. That is, we are bombing mountains where the Taliban have half a century of experience occupying and fighting one nuclear power nation after another. And they never, ever give up! This is amazing and they will stand in history as major lessons about how barbarians can destroy huge empires.
Time to travel back to the end of Bush Jr. and the beginning of Obama, the fake peace prize pooch:

This speech about our ‘brief stay’ in Afghanistan after killing bin Laden, has been endless, as I expected back then. An illegal war leads to no peace but bitter war to the end. ‘The tide of war is RECEDING…’ says Obama the warmonger.
Note that is didn’t ‘recede’ at all. It expanded into Libya and Syria, we didn’t ‘win’ in Iraq, either. This entire speech by the delusional Obama should be required for all war criminals to see how a war criminal should delusionally defend war crimes.
‘We are a nation that brings enemies to the rule of law, we do not stand for empire but self-determination…’ HAHAHA. ‘The power of our example…’ HAHAHA. This man is a laugh riot.
‘We spent a trillion dollars at war…we must create new jobs and industries and live within our means…’ Wow. This speech was from 2011 when he had to run for office so yes, he talked jobs at home, peace and not overspending…just like Trump.

The general here is utterly delusional. He talks and talks about how wonderful their ‘mission’ was and it was a ‘success’ when it was an utter failure.
The Taliban correctly saw this as a craven retreat and immediately poured back in. Just like in the Vietnam war!

So now on to today as Trump falls into the traps set by the Pentagon paper pushers: U.S. drops its largest non-nuclear bomb for first time in combat – NY Daily News as Trump apes Obama, Bush Jr., Bill Clinton, Bush Sr. and yes, Ronnie Reagan. The Ship of State continues to plow towards the Niagara Falls of Imperial bankruptcy.
White House Press Secretary said the strike targeted an area where ISIS militants had been able to “move around freely” and target American personnel.
Spicer said all proper precautions were taken before the drop. But he refused to share any other details about the decision, punting all questions to the Department of Defense. He did not say if President Trump knew about the bombing beforehand or authorized it.
The commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan said the bombing was necessary as ISIS-K, the Afghanistan branch of the terror group, had grown more reliant on bunkers and tunnels for defense.
All our bombings are ‘necessary’ but alas, ‘USELESS’ too. These bombs are for cities and killing civilians, Battle of Stalingrad or the bombing of Hiroshima, take out a few military facilities while maximizing the murder of millions of civilians. The Nazis began this and we took up the cudgel and now it is normal to annihilate city populations during wars.
But there are virtually no cities to bomb in Afghanistan! Like Vietnam, we end up bombing jungles or deserts and this has near-zero effect. I remember the ‘hearts and minds’ business under LBJ. I said in a speech way back in 1968 ‘You can’t bomb your way into people’s hearts and minds, they hate you because you are killing them!’ This goes under ‘duh’.

The Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) is a guidance kit that converts unguided bombs, or “dumb bombs”, into all-weather “smart” munitions. JDAM-equipped bombs are guided by an integrated inertial guidance system coupled to a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, giving them a published range of up to 15 nautical miles (28 km). JDAM-equipped bombs range from 500 pounds (227 kg) to 2,000 pounds (907 kg).[1] When installed on a bomb, the JDAM kit is given a GBU (Guided Bomb Unit) nomenclature, superseding the Mark 80 or BLU(Bomb, Live Unit) nomenclature of the bomb to which it is attached.
The JDAM is not a stand-alone weapon; rather it is a “bolt-on” guidance package that converts unguided gravity bombs into Precision-Guided Munitions, or PGMs. The key components of the system consist of a tail section with aerodynamic control surfaces, a (body) strake kit, and a combined inertial guidance system and GPS guidance control unit.
Hint to the Pentagon: dropping bombs doesn’t work except against industrial societies and even then it doesn’t stop military production, the Nazi war machine was churning our rockets, etc. in the caves outside of Jena all the way up to the minute my father came in with his gun drawn and shot it in the air and told the Nazis, the angry Russians were less than 20 miles away!
So why would the Taliban or the Vietcong stop fighting? They know we always give up!
